The Two Babylons
The central theme of the book deals with the argument that the Catholic Church is the Babylon of Revelation. It examines the symbolism in Revelation, e.g. of the "beast" and the "woman with the the golden cup", but also fundamental practices in the Catholic Church that have no basis in Holy Scripture.
Today's "holy days", including the origins of Christmas and Easter, are examined.
Christmas and Easter, all of which have their roots in pagan rites and festivals. It is shown that today's Catholic Church can be equated with the Babylon mentioned by St Paul in the first century, from which mentions in the first century, which he said was already "at work" at that time. An excellent book with lots of background information.
